HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING
PLANNING
After acquiring plans/wayleaves the job site can be scanned for services using locating devices such as a radio frequency locator and ground penetrating radar.
EXCAVATIONS
Drilling pits are excavated for the drilling machine to be positioned to create the pilot hole.
DRILLING
The drill head is continuously monitored from above ground with a location device while drilling.
REAMING
After the drilling is done a backreamer may be placed onto the drill rods and ream the pilot hole to the size of the desired pipe.
PIPE INSTALLATION
Once the hole is the desired size the pipe is installed leaving behind no exterior cavity.
SITE CLEANUP
Necessary documentation of the job site may now be recorded, cleanup commences returning it to the same condition as before if required by the client.
MOLING
PLANNING

EXCAVATIONS
Moling pits are excavated for the mole to be positioned to create the tunnel for the pipe.
MOLING
Once the excavations are complete the mole is lowered into the pit, angled correctly and sent through the ground. After being sent level with the ground/road it is monitored as it travels to the exit pit.
PIPE INSTALLATION
Once the tunnel has been opened by the mole the pipe can be installed.
SITE CLEANUP
Necessary documentation of the job site may now be recorded, cleanup commences returning it to the same condition as before if required by the client.
